Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Once I terrified a boy in my kindergarten class by telling him that the green paper cut-out footprints our teacher put up on our classroom walls overnight were in fact real leprechaun prints, and if the leprechauns could get inside our classroom they could get inside his bedroom at night too. I hope he's made of sterner stuff now.

from Darby O'Gill and the Little People, 1959
