the view from yesterday
After some astoundingly sunny days, winter had its last gasp. I woke up yesterday to snow!
There were no fewer than ten snowmen in various stages of completion in the park, and several snowball fights. Today everything is back to normal. It's as if the snow never happened.. maybe we all had a collective dream of winter?

I think it is a collective dream, but a lovely one :) If its going to be cold, it may as well look beautiful eh? We still have snow on the tops of the hills as evidence that it came in april!!

When I looked at the first picture, I thought it was blossoms in the tree... lovely pictures. So odd you had snow so late.
Oh, you were right! There were blossoms under the snow. The snow really was a surprise!
