I put the dates for my vacation in my calendar several days ago but only realized this morning that this means I'll be in the US for the Fourth of July for the first time in years! I love family firework picnics. Hooray... I can't wait!

Wonderful picture! Mmmm... 4th of July, apple pie. We celebrate July 1 here in the great frozen north, but we still have lots of fun. :)
The 4th--love it, but as someone from the UK, it is a twinge disconcerting!
I'm very much looking forward to it! My best friend will be traveling with me and is also a bit wary of the fourth.
