Oh, minor jetlag and LibraryThing... a dangerous combination! The birds outside are chirruping very loudly considering it is the middle of the night. They're confusing my body clock, but at least they sound cheerful.

The water heater, however, is making a not-so-cheerful high pitched persistent whining sound. Bad water heater!
I'm a careless buffoon, and left the tap running in the downstairs bathroom for an age... I don't know if that was the cause of the whine? Sorry!
