Many things going on this week in the world of work, most of which I cannot write about for various reasons. I'm sure it's safe to mention that an unseasonably large fly has been buzzing around the studio and sneaking up on me all evening.

From my desk I can see a workman laughing and hopping around on his ladder in the street. Whenever someone walks by he stops hopping and tries to look busy.

It seems every time I go away to teach I end up getting a cold. I never got sick when I was teaching small children.. not sure what's wrong with my college students that makes their studios hotbeds of disease. I am using it as an excuse to eat oatmeal in bed while waiting for the Indiana Jones trailer to be released on the internet. That's not remotely nerdy, is it?
